Programs That Transform Lives
Focusing on youth, seniors, and families, our programs are designed to meet the critical needs of the Potrero Hill community.
Youth Development
Serving 100+ children per year, our Youth Development programs offer year-round extracurricular education. The summer program exposes children to activities and culture beyond their everyday life, combining academic enrichment with excursions. We also provide STEM education, transitional age youth programs, and peer counseling.
Sub-programs: After School & Summer Education, STEM Education, Experiment in Diversity, Transitional Age Youth, Peer Counseling.
Food Security
Serving 150+ families per week since 1986. In partnership with the SF-Marin Food Bank, our food pantry operates rain or shine every Wednesday to supply fresh produce and staples to families and seniors in our community.
Community Advocacy
The Nabe has been 'the voice of residents' with politicians, government agencies, and developers to ensure the availability of basic life services during re-development and to help address health, safety, relocation, and other issues.
